Will you require access to our web servers?
It depends, we leave this fully up to our clients, and if you should choose to not let us have access, we will then provide you with changes required through Email or FTP that you can upload in your own time. This is sometimes time consuming and SEO Shepherd strongly advise against this as it often has sevee impact on the success of achieving higher Rankings. No changes will however, with or without access to the web servers, be undertaken before express permission is given.
What are the reasons for my website not ranking high?
There are several reasons a website fails to rank high, most common is that you have heavy competition with excellent SEO, the second is that you have weak content and your website is more visible for unproductive terms like your telephone number, your own URL and words like ‘Click here’ or ‘Buy Now’ instead of your USP’s (Unique Selling Points) and your own products. There are hundreds of other factors that comes in to play in various stages of ranking and purchasing cycles and being aware of them is what makes SEO Shepherd an excellent SEO Company.
Can you guarantee a Number #1 spot for me?
We know that this is breaking the cardinal rule of sales pitching – No! There is nobody that can do this! SEO Companies that quarantee you Number #1 positions in Google are scams, either they are scamming you when they tell you this or they rank you Number #1 for something that nobody ever searches for (or ever will search for). The reason that no one can guarantee this is that there is no SEO in the world that controls the algorithms of the Search Engines. What about first page result?
